Music video by artist Bastian Harper entitled Love to...

This work was produced many, many winters ago. A music video by artist Bastian Harper (The Submission) titled Love to dance. Dancing was the basic idea. The implementation took place with a lot of spontaneity and flexibility in a few hours in a discotheque with the dancers from The Steps. Unfortunately, video shooting and video production did not take place in 4K/UHD at that time.

RUHRFILM - Video- und Medienproduktion aus Mühlheim an der Ruhr - the best way to record events, meetings, concerts, talks, theater performances...
… to publish them on TV, Internet, DVD, Blu-Ray Disc etc.

A challenging combination: demands and a tight budget?

Usually you have to prioritize because these options are mutually exclusive. However, RUHRFILM - Video- und Medienproduktion aus Mühlheim an der Ruhr is the exception to the rule. Current cameras of the same type of the latest generation with large 1-inch image sensors are used. Challenging lighting conditions are no obstacle to excellent image quality. The programmable motorized pan-tilts allow the cameras to be operated remotely, reducing the need for staff and saving costs.

These are among other things our services

Video recording with multiple cameras (multi-camera video production)

A main field of activity of RUHRFILM - Video- und Medienproduktion aus Mühlheim an der Ruhr is multi-camera video recording and video production. Several cameras of the same type are used. Cameras of the same type ensure identical image quality for every image or camera setting. Professional software is used for video editing on high-performance computers, which is also used by TV stations worldwide. RUHRFILM - Video- und Medienproduktion aus Mühlheim an der Ruhr offers the possibility to produce videos in 8K / UHD-II / UHDTV2 / 4320p as well.

Video recording of theater performances, concerts, readings ...

The video recording of concerts, theater performances, readings, etc. is of course done with several cameras. The multi-camera video recording makes it possible to record the different areas of the performance from different perspectives. We rely on modern cameras that are remote-controlled. The cameras are controlled from a central point with regard to zoom, sharpness and alignment. In this way, 5 or more cameras can be controlled by just one person. An entire event can be fully recorded by just one person.

TV and video reports for radio, streaming and the internet

A wealth of experience has grown from many years as a video journalist. Hundreds of TV contributions and reports were produced and broadcast. This activity led to a wide variety of places for a wide variety of topics. These included breaking news and information, cultural and sporting events, competitions, social events and much more. Our wealth of experience is so rich that we can produce TV reports and video reports for you on all sorts of topics.

Video recording of interviews, round tables, discussion events, etc.

Depending on the assignment, several cameras are also used for interviews, discussion events and roundtables. If the questioner is not to be shown in the picture in interviews with only one person, two cameras are sometimes completely sufficient. However, if it is an interview or conversation situation with several people, we naturally rely on the multi-camera method. The extent to which remote-controlled cameras must be used depends on whether the event is attended by an audience. If interviews, conversations or discussion rounds are recorded without an audience, there is no need for a motor pan tilt.

Editing of video and audio material

Of course, just recording concerts, events, interviews and discussions etc. is not enough. The second and at least as important part of a video production is the video editing. When cutting the video material, audio tracks and soundtracks are also viewed and adjusted. The integration of additional text and image material as well as the integration of logos and blurbs also takes place during the video editing. We also cut videos from their or material from other sources. If the soundtracks of a concert recording are to be remixed and mastered, you can supply them accordingly.

Small batch manufacture of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs

Our range of services also includes the production of CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs in small series. In contrast to other storage media, CDs, DVDs and Blu-ray discs have unbeatable advantages. Memory cards, hard drives and USB sticks are not designed to last forever. The advantage of Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs is that they do not contain any electronic components. Blu-ray discs, DVDs and CDs are ideal for selling, giving away or archiving music and videos.
